Recently I had the great pleasure of cooking some delicious food with chefs Scott Drewno (The Source, Washington D.C.) and Kevin O'Donnell (The Salty Pig, Boston). Their food was excellent! Scott did his thang and created literally the best traditional Chinese cuisine I've ever tasted. His flavors were SO developed and complex, and I learned a shit-ton about building flavors. Kevin's food was sick too. He used local, seasonal New England ingredients and put a rustic Italian spin on all of his dishes. It was great to have my friend Alisha Fowler (Chefs Collaborative) and her hubby Jesse make it in for this 7 course event. It's nights like this that make me truly appreciate how fortunate I am to be a part of such an incredible talented, passionate and supportive community of hospitality professionals. Cheers!
