The fine folks at Lovin' Spoonfuls decided to host a "thank you" BBQ at Allendale Farm for all of their supporters. Chef Michael Scelfo headed the event, and when he asked me if I could come through with some fixin's, I was ecstatic. Michael held it down on a whole hog from Brambly Farms, and Chef Nookie came correct with some marvelous sides. You know how i did it: Red Eye Collards, Pork Rind & Poblano Mayo Corn-on-the-Cob, and Bread & Butter Pickles. It was a great time for a great cause, and ALL of the people who came out to show love were some of my favorite folks in town. Hands down, the best way to spend a Monday night in August.
